Baby Bands!

Just wanted to share pictures of some new designs I have been working on. My sister and I will be throwing a couple headband parties in Utah soon and we are trying to stock up! I'm also going to Washington for Thanksgiving so if anyone wants to buy some let me know and I can deliver them to you :-)

Fall & Winter 2010

Green, brown, and cream rosette Blossom Band This band highlights the best of Fall colors. Each rosette is arranged with contrasting but supportive colors that goes well with any Fall style. The rosettes are attached to a cream fabric colored headband. $10 USD
 

Splash of red Fall Blossom Band Matching the changing leaves of fall, this headband has a red rosette among other milder colors. Brings a splash to your everyday fall and winter wear. $9 USD

Satin tailored bow headband This tailor-made headband is unique in that it is a neatly layered bow straightened on a matching satin headband. It's subtle, yet cute, and goes very well with any occasion. Two and three-loop headbands are available in a variety of colors. $7.50 USD

Orange autumn Blossom Band It may be hard to wear orange without looking like a pumpkin, but this orange frayed blossom has some real down-to-earth cuteness. It is buttoned to a fabric covered headband and is in perfect time for the Fall season! $7 USD

Auburn and ivory satin Blossom Band This beautiful set of blossoms are individually hand-stitched with pearly centers. Each ivory or auburn blossom is mounted on a headband that is hand-wrapped in satin fabric. This headband will make it seem it's blooming in Fall. $12.50 USD 

Cream orange and green autumn Blossom Band Cream, orange, and green frayed rosettes are attached to a fabric covered headband. This trio goes great on fall or winter clothing, and fits any hairstyle. $8 USD

Green and brown Blossom Band This band has a frayed stylish look centered with pearls. They are positioned on a discreet tan elastic band. Although it is made for the Fall collection, these colors are great for every season. $8.50 USD

Brown and cream Blossom Band A large (2.5" diameter) cream blossom with a small brown rosette on each side. The blossoms are attached to a light brown elastic. This Blossom Band is flexible to wear and goes well with a variety of styles. $8 USD

Fall orange and brown Blossom Band These cute autumn colors are great for this time of year. There are five orange rosettes circled around a single brown rosette to form a flower. The rosettes are attached to a goldish brown elastic band. $4.50 USD

 

Light green and brown petite rosette Blossom Band A cute combination of petite rosettes are earth-colored and bring out the best in Fall colors wherever you go. The rosettes are in shades of light green and brown, and are attached to an elastic headband. $6 USD

Brown cream and orange autumn Blossom Band These wider rosettes are flat, frayed, and come in sweet autumn colors: brown, cream, and light orange. They are brought together on a hand wrapped satin fabric headband. This headband is ready for fall and winter! $8 USD

Triple rosette brown and cream Blossom Band This simple headband is a must for the season. Three frayed brown and white rosettes adorn a brown fabric covered headband. Each rosette is stylishly designed and ready to be worn! $6.50 USD

I'm sorry if I am neglecting this blog a little bit but I have been busy setting up shop here. And guess what? I've already got my first orders in! woohoo! Introduction

Whew! I've decided that trying to start a little business is hard work. I haven't even made a sale yet (I haven't really tried) and I feel like I have spent hours planning and researching and making and unmaking and creating.  I guess its the perfectionist in me that wants to wait until I have made the perfect product before I tell anyone about it. Or maybe it's the fear of someone laughing at me.  But I realize that its a work in progress and that I might as well get the ball rolling and dive right in... Here goes!

Right after I had my sweet baby boy I realized that labor and delivery takes a toll on your body. I was pretty miserable for the first couple weeks and I wondered when I would feel like a normal person again. I had minimal time to get ready for the day and I never had time to fix my hair. Since I had to keep it pulled back anyway, I really wanted to get some of those cute headbands that every girl seems to be sporting nowadays. After an entire month of letting my hair go wild I decided that I would just make myself a couple of them so that I could feel presentable again. Making headbands became my new hobby!

Wearing headbands soon became a must for me.

More and more people asked me about my headbands...and then several people encouraged me to start selling them. I finally decided to do it and I have been busy ever since trying to make it happen. I would like to take some decent photographs of them before I show you my little collection of what is for sale so stay tuned! Oh and hereafter they will be referred to as blossom bands! So be excited. ; )

I will also be selling blossom bands for babies which I am having so much fun making. And guess who gets to test them out??! Poor baby boy is not going to be very happy with me when he gets older.
